Tahoe WindjammersYacht Club on San Francisco Bay

(During the winter months)

Every winter, some members of WYC take their boats out of the snow and head to the San Francisco Bay to participate in Berkley YC midwinter and other race  series. The rest of the club members surf the standing white waves of the Sierras. So, if you are driving up to Tahoe on a weekend, you will meet some of our members driving the other way to escape the skiing crowds at Tahoe to enjoy the relaxing SF Bay breezes.
