I am in the Navy and stationed

My work does require me to travel at times,
but I am available on most weekends! Hopefully
I can become an asset to a boat.

I have only raced once before
many years ago. I enjoy sailing with my wife
and friends. I sailed from 1979 to 1982 with
my 22' Oday. Now, I sail my 23' Ranger for about
10 years. Wednesday has always interfered with
my business schedule, however, this year I am
willing to cut my day at work early to be able
to crew. Thank you for the opportunity. Glenn

Have recently moved to Reno.
I own a Beneteau 235 that I sail on the Great
Salt Lake. Mainly cruising and non-competitive
club racing. Have bareboat chartered in San
Diego, Annapolis and Florida. I am interested
in being a crew member to orient myself to the
area and gain familiarity w/ jib hoist at Tahoe
Keys. I'll bring the Beneteau to Nev./Calif.
in April of 2011. It will undergo hull work
and updates to trailer, sails and running rigging
for racing/cruising on Tahoe and Almanor over
the winter.

making new friends who can show me the 'knots'
of sailing...an intimidating but exciting challenge.

I LOVE the Lake, LOVE boats
& welcome any opportunities to be on a boat
on the Lake, cruising or racing! I have only
been sailing a handful of times as a passenger,
so I really don’t know diddly about how to be
a crew member, but if anyone is willing to teach,
I would LOVE to learn… I’m always willing to
lend a hand, work hard, get my hands dirty,
get my feet wet, whatever needs doing. Also
I have a pretty competitive spirit & LOVE
to win, so racing sounds pretty exciting to
me! Hope to hear from you soon.
Thank you. Marjie

I finally got to experience the Women's Sailing
Clinic this year, and have had a whirlwind tour
through a beer can race, some special practice
running the jib sheets with Diane Martin, and
the Women's Day Race! I am so hooked! I would
really like to gain more experience and knowledge.
My previous sailing experience was with my dad
on a Cyclone 13 when I was a young adult...
I'm over in Zephyr Cove, and am available for
the Wednesday race, and on the weekends.
